The Allen-Bradley 1771-ACN15 is a single-port ControlNet communication interface module designed for use with PLC-5 processors and 1771 I/O chassis. Supporting ControlNet versions 1.5 and beyond, this module enables high-speed, deterministic communication between controllers and remote I/O devices. The 1771-ACN15 is a non-redundant media adapter, meaning it features a single BNC connector for ControlNet communication. Ideal for applications that do not require redundant network paths, it provides a cost-effective solution while maintaining reliable data transfer over ControlNet. This module installs in a single slot and is not compatible with redundant ControlNet backup systems.
