The Allen-Bradley 1771-HSN is a core IMC-120 Motion Servo Controller designed for precise servo motor control in industrial automation applications. This controller manages the motion profiles and feedback loops required for accurate positioning and velocity control. Notably, the 1771-HSN does not include onboard memory and therefore requires a separate 1771-HM or 1771-HMA plug-in memory cartridge for program storage. It is a rack-mountable module compatible with the 1771 I/O chassis and is part of the discontinued but widely used IMC-120 motion control system.
