The Allen-Bradley 1784-KTS is a communication card designed for use with PLC-5 systems, providing a single Remote I/O scanner channel. Compatible with 16-bit ISA and EISA expansion slots, this card enables PC-based control and communication with Remote I/O networks in legacy industrial environments. Unlike other models in the KTx family, the 1784-KTS does not support DH+ or DH-485 node functions, focusing instead on high-performance Remote I/O scanning. Ideal for legacy system integration, it offers a dependable solution for systems still reliant on ISA-bus architecture.
